THE T-Shirt

There's no place quite like the Blogosphere is there? (Well, apart from the Caribbean, or Thailand or anywhere else with a bit of sun really). But you get my drift.

Just over a week ago I posted a picture of something my five-year-old daughter had written. Amongst the comments I received was a suggestion from English Mum, that it would look great as a T-Shirt, closely followed by another coment from Brighton Mum explaining the best way to do it. And while I sat back and wondered whether I had either the energy or the inclination to get off my rather lazy behind and actually do something about it, I received another e-mail. This time, it wasn't just a suggestion, but an offer.

'I can put it onto a t-shirt for you. Would you like me to?'

Erm, now let me just think about that for one milisecond.

'Yes please.'

And that's all it took. Seriously. And to think I was considering attempting to do it myself.

So, without further ado, here is THE T-Shirt.

How amazing is it? And how kind and wonderful is the person who did it for me? And all of this because of a little something called the Blogosphere.

Thank you kind people. I think I'll be sticking around for a while yet.

  6. I do think it's a brilliant t-shirt - it's the kind of thing Born Free or World Wildlife Fund should be selling. I'm just saying...

  9. What a lovely, lovely thing. Hurrah for the blogosphere indeed! Does is come in different colours?! ;-) (if that is the sign for winking!)

  10. that's lovely on a teeshirt; it's a good global message and delivered in the right style with all the right connotations. i suspect squirrel's 'i don't like mummy ignoring me' wouldn't have the same type of impact.

  17. The Blogosphere is indeed a wonderful place and small world. I have just been emailed by a 'cousin' in Ontario, Canada, who is a Grigg, like me. But we're trying to work out where the two Somerset branches are related.

  18. Met Mum - Or t-shirts with pom poms on...now there's an idea!

notsupermum - Yep it looks great doesn't it? (And I can say that because it wasn't my idea)!

Aingeal - Hi and welcome! Yep...it's a great idea (just not one of mine)!!

Chic Mama - I know - when she's a famous animal activist (not sure there are any, but you know what I mean) - we'll look back on the t-shirt and see it as the starting point.

ThenThereWereThree - Such lovely people - what did we ever do before we met them?

Mwa - Me too! Hubby thinks I'm a bit crazy though, but there's always one though isn't there?!

ourprivateblog - I know - if only I'd started blogging a few years ago - would have solved many a lonely night!

  19. Liz - Oh I know - you're so right (and I'm so crap at doing anything with good ideas). Must get my a*#e into action!

BM - Yep, would be fab, althugh it wasn't me with the t-shirt printing machine thingy at home. Will see how much it costs if I do it all myself!

allgrownup - You're so right - Yep, will definitely (try!) to do something about it. Must get off my bottom...

Hot Cross - Hee hee. Not at the moment it doesn't, but I'm working on the idea! What colour do you want?

    Grit - Oh I don't know - I can definitely see a market for Squirrel's sentiments on a t-shirt too ;-))

Zoo - I know - I am a bit too. I should have asked for one in a Mummy size rather than a 5-yr-old size. Silly me!

  20. Rosie - I now - everyone keeps saying the same thing. Such a good idea, but I'm crap at doing things like that. But yes, it would be silly not to!

Brighton Mum - I know, I know. Will get on the case. And yes, the blogosphere is ace!

English Mum - I have you to thank clever lady. Mwah x

Marion - It's for Renée (unfortunately)!! Although I'm thinking that a Mummy-sized one wouldn't look bad either.

Chesire - I know!!! Watch this space... ;-)

Maddie - I know - funny isn't it? I never even knew this place existed last year! And now I have I can't remember what life was like before! x
