Tags and Lists and things like that

Firstly I want to say a very huge THANK YOU to Marathoner81 who not only tagged me, but also presented me with a fabulous award which I am displaying right here, right now... Honest Scrap Award hey? I like it... A Lot!

I've also been tagged by Bush Babies, Mum in Chaos, Reasons to be Cheerful 1,2 3, A Modern Mother and (sort of) Kate Morris (well I volunteered) - so thank you ladies. Some of the lists vary, but in order to save you the effort of having to read 5 separate lists and falling asleep before you reach the end, I thought I'd combine the lists and just do one. So, without further ado, here is my list.

1. What are your curent obsessions?
Blogging, obviously. But that's a bit too obvious. It used to be Facebook, but my love affair with that is finally over, thankfully. It was taking up far too much time that I could (and wish I had) have spent blogging.
2. Which item of clothes do you wear most often?
Jeans.
3. What's for dinner tonight?
When I wrote my answers earlier and didn't have time to post I wrote 'No idea. Can't think past the next hour at the moment. Would love to think that I''ll be able to find something in the cupboard, but we've been away for the weekend and there is NO food in the house. Aaargh.' That was written earlier. Now, husband is making a stirfry in the kitchen with God knows what. (Neither of us has been shopping since I wrote the earlier bit). He obviously takes after his Mother and can produce a meal for 20 with nothing in the cupboards.
4. What's the last thing you bought?
A book entitled 'The Secret Life of Bees' by Sue Monk Kidd because a friend recommended it.
5. What are you currently listening to?
Jason Mraz. I heard it on the TV a while ago and made a note to buy it. I then lost the note (of course) and forgot about it. Then Little Mummy posted a video of him and I fell in love with it all over again. Went out and bought it the very next day (minutes before I bought 'The Secret Life of Bees').
6. What are your favourite holiday spots?
Anywhere in S.E.Asia. The Philippines or Thailand would be great thank you. Palm trees, sunshine, fantastic food and amazingly friendly people.
7. What are you reading now?
I've got about 10 books lined up to start and am currently dithering about which one to choose, having just finished The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold. They are The White Tiger, On Chesil Beach, The Secret Life of Bees, Bright Shiny Morning and The Little Friend. Suggestions for which one to start would be most welcome.
8. Use 4 words to describe yourself.
Calm, friendly, open, lazy (whoops that one just slipped out)!!
9. What is your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate.
Although most of the time I don't feel that guilty about it!
10. Who or what makes you laugh until you're weak?
Just recently my husband has been making me laugh so hard that I've almost needed my Tsena Lady pads...it's something to do with his eyebrows, but I'm not telling what...Other than that, my children never fail to make me laugh. And as for making me laugh until I'm weak - a couple of bloggers in particular definitely have that effect on me. So thank you Mothership and More than Just a Mother.
11. First Spring thing?
Admiring all the beautiful flowers in the garden and then boring myself by constantly saying 'Summer's almost here'.
12. Where are you planning on travelling to next?
No plans. Husband is doing that enough for all of us at the moment. But anywhere hot would be good.
13. What was the best thing you ate or drank recently?
Sushi. Always sushi. Best drink was a rather delicious raspberry mojito at the weekend.
14. When did you last get tipsy?
Saturday night whilst enjoying the raspberry mojito(s).
15. What is your favourite film?
Leon probably. But lots of other too. Friday with Ice Cube always makes me laugh.
16. Share a piece of wisdom.
This really should be a piece of maternal wisdom, but I can't think of any, so this will have to do... A truly trusting person is a strong person because they have to be strong enough to cope if the person they trust lets them down.
17. What's your favourite song?
Too many. Save Room by John Legend. Delilah by Plain White T's. Laziest girl in Town by Nina Simone. Walk Away by Ben Harper. Police and Thieves by Lee Scratch Perry. Can't choose.
18. If you could change anything in your life so far, what would it be?
I'd love to say nothing here. I think regrets are silly because everything we do makes us who we are, but I do regret having given up my (well-paid) job before I got pregnant. At least if I'd waited, I would have been entitled to some maternity pay!
There, that's the list. The rules are as follows. I tag you. You answer the questions, replace one question with a question of your choice and then tag 8 people. Simple!
Here's the 8 people I tag.
Good luck. And if this isn't your thing, I won't be offended!! Just ignore it!
Oh, and I almost forgot. I have to pass on my Honest Scrap award to someone...
That someone is Mamma Po for always being there. Thanks Annna x
